Cookie Policy
Cookies, and your say over them.
Nothing that tracks you runs before you agree to it. Here is exactly what we use, and how to stay in control.
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on this website, what each is for, and how you control your consent under the GDPR.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — pixels, tags, and local storage — work the same way. Together they let a site remember choices, measure how it is used, and support advertising.
This policy covers all such technologies used on this website, and works alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. Consent comes first
Only strictly necessary cookies are set automatically, because the site cannot work without them. Every other cookie — analytics and advertising — is set only after you agree through the cookie banner.
Until you give consent, no analytics or advertising tags load and none of their cookies are placed. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the site.
3. The categories we use
- Strictly necessaryRequired for the site to function and stay secure — for example, remembering your cookie preferences. These do not need consent and cannot be switched off.
- AnalyticsHelp us understand how the site is used — which pages are visited and how people move through them — so we can improve it. Set only with your consent.
- AdvertisingMeasure and support advertising campaigns, including conversions and remarketing across Google and Meta platforms. Set only with your consent.
4. The tools and cookies
These non-essential tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager and fire only after you consent to the matching category:
- Google Tag ManagerA tag manager that loads the tools below according to your consent choices. It does not itself profile you; it governs when the others may run.
- Google Analytics — analyticsMeasures site usage. Sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> (identifiers used to distinguish visitors), typically retained for up to two years unless you clear them.
- Google Ads — advertisingMeasures ad conversions and supports remarketing. Sets cookies such as _gcl_au and conversion identifiers, typically retained up to 90 days.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertisingMeasures campaign performance and supports audience building on Meta platforms. Sets cookies such as _fbp, typically retained up to 90 days.
5. Managing your consent
You can reopen the cookie settings on this site at any time to change your choices or withdraw consent. You can also delete cookies and block them through your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, Google offers a browser add-on. Google and Meta also provide their own ad-settings controls.
6. Third-party policies
The tools above are provided by Google and Meta, who act as independent controllers or joint controllers for the data they collect through them. Their own privacy and cookie policies explain how they use that data; we link to them from within the cookie settings, and you can review them on the providers' websites.
7. Changes
If the cookies or tools we use change, this page is updated and the date below changes with it. Questions can go to studio@oryndex.com.
